The PAUSE Creates Room for Recognition
Sometimes, when we are in the middle of a difficult situation, we focus so closely on what happened that it becomes hard to see anything beyond the immediate problem. Thoughts, emotions, questions, and details can all compete for attention at once.
Talking through the situation can create a pause.
In that pause, something may begin to sound different. A detail stands out. A response becomes clearer. A person may hear herself say something she had not fully considered before.
That recognition can shift your perspective, reveal a repeating pattern, uncover an unmet need, and help you connect something that did not make sense before.
The answer does not always appear immediately, and it does not have to be forced. Sometimes the most meaningful insight comes when there is enough time, support, and space to hear yourself more clearly.
